Low-dimensional materials lab is a part of the Centre for Nano and Material Sciences-Jain University, Bangalore, India.

Large area low-dimensional material with controlled crystallinity is a major challenge when comes to chemical synthesis. Our group is interested in the synthesis of 2D-large area low-dimensional materials via chemical routes. The possible stacked structures of homo/ heterogeneous 2D-materials will be worth exploring in terms of layered interactions, the effect on abundant accessible active sites, variation in electric conductivity/electron-transport property, and the possibility of tunable work function.

In addition, my research group is also focusing on the recent challenges of energy and the environment by developing Zero-Waste technology.

My group as an academic research group is highly motivated for industrial collaboration to develop indigenous technology/materials as per the industry requirements. We are experts in the synthesis of carbon nanomaterials, functionalized carbon nanomaterials, and metal/ metal oxide nanoparticles for different exciting applications. We are happy to collaborate with the industry, please feel free to reach out to us.
